“I’m Ripley Fletcher and a proud resident of Runcorn Old Town. I wasn’t born here; I moved here around 25 years ago and happily run my own small business here. The people I’ve met in Runcorn have become my home and family and I love being part of it.
There’s something about Runcorn that I find to be magical; Maybe it stems from our very long and rich history, or maybe it’s the supportive community, the river, the canals, the amazing bridges, the castle or all of these things together, but I’ve never found a place like it. That’s why I feel passionate about supporting our community, through being a founder member of the Runcorn Old Town CLT.
We have an opportunity, as local residents, to shape what happens around us. With the support of various businesses, local Council and other local people with ideas of what this place can be, we can really have a voice and do something special.”
